You’ll see that our Tour Director, Sandy Gregory, is not only a passionate traveler,
but a seasoned guide who loves to share her knowledge and travel secrets with her guests.
She has done over 40 tours throughout Italy, studied in Florence in college, is of Italian
heritage and speaks Italian. This is a tour for women — by women. As we spend our time
capturing the beauty of Tuscany with our pens and brushes, Sandy will be making sure
our glasses are full, there is plenty of truffle cheese and chocolate to munch on, and every
detail is attended to so your travel adventure is enjoyable, memorable and fun.

During the tour, I will explain and demonstrate at each location how to see and feel
the surroundings. Learning how to capture those emotions in your journal makes
for a strong visual experience. You will learn new techniques to build your artistic
skills and come home with a new confidence in what you are rendering and painting.
Collecting memorabilia along the way and collaging them into your journal will also
add to the overall experience and reinforce your travel memories.

The comprehensive price includes:

• 2 nights in a boutique hotel in the heart of Florence (double-twin occupancy),
6 nights in a villa in the Tuscan Hills. Due to our close relationships with our
family-owned villas, we can accommodate groups as small as 6 and up to 14.
Accommodations will be in a European double-twin room or small efficiency
apartment with a shared bathroom between 2 people. We want your experience
to be the most memorable, pleasurable and authentic that we can offer, therefore,
final villa selection will be determined once we know the final count of the tour.
At all of them, you’ll enjoy free Wifi, laundry services, a swimming pool, morning
hikes through the vineyards, poolside yoga and vistas that will take your breath away.

• All breakfasts, villa lunches and dinners, all group meals at local restaurants,
including the best of local wines. Because we are a small group tour, we order
what we want from the restaurant menus. (Not included in your tour price:
5 in-town lunches and 1 dinner night 2 in Florence.)

• Unlimited wine, beer, soda, water and snacks at the villa

• All museum admissions. We bypass the lines and enjoy private guided tours
by Dr. Susanna Buricchi, art historian, curator and Renaissance specialist.
Susanna has written 8 books and brings the Renaissance to life as she unfolds
the history and genius of  the Maestros of Tuscany.

• All transportation during the tour in a private motor coach, plus group departure
transfer from the villa to the Florence train station or airport. (Please let us know
if you would like to arrange an arrival transfer.)

• Art lessons throughout the tour, including an art kit and journal, complete with
all the supplies you will need for the tour.

• 2 private cooking classes which include wine and take-home recipes.

• Wine tour, tasting and lunch at the castle

We hope you can join us. Please feel free to call or email me with any questions
you may have. It’s time to get out of town. Andiamo! Let’s go and have some fun
