Artist Statement:

My current work continues to study and express the vulnerability of feelings, fears and relationships. My work is narrative and representational of the female figure interpreted in ceramics, bronze and mixed-media.
The sculptures, wall pieces and installations represent the strength of women, influenced by the raw materials of the earth, resulting in complete freedom, peace and a sense of self.
My new series of the female Bird Goddess’, once belonging to the earth thousands of years ago, are now recaptured through my thoughts and feelings and formed by my hands to be seen again.
