SATURDAY , APRIL 2nd, 2016
8:30 – 9:45 p.m.: Welcome Desk
Registration at hotel.
10 a.m. – annual general
membership meeting
12:00 noon – meeting adjourns.
Lunch on your own.
2 – 3 p.m. – Presentation by Katherine Chang Liu at the hotel
5:30 p.m. – Happy Hour
6:30 p.m. – guests retire to ballroom for awards banquet 
7:00 p.m. – Dinner will promptly be served
8:15 p.m. – Juror will present
the awards
9:15 p.m. – Banquet ends.

A block of two-room suites has been reserved for our members and guests. Please call the hotel directly at (239) 949-4222 and ask for the discounted group rate being offered to the Florida Artists Group.  Breakfast in the Atrium is included in this rate.


Exhibition Guidelines:

Deadline for emailed submissions by 3/1/16

All images of art entered in the symposium exhibition must be emailed to
Pat Zalisko at pzalisko@yahoo.com and to Cheryl Fausel at cherartist@aol.com.
Images must be emailed in the following format:
lastname_title_dimensions_ medium_price.
Images should be sent as jpegs, and measure 1800 pixels on the longest side. Two-dimensional work must not exceed 50” wide. Three dimensional work must not exceed 200 lbs. in weight. All two-dimensional work must be properly wired: saw tooth hardware will not be accepted. Work framed and
covered must be under Plexiglas: glass will not be accepted. Three-dimensional work requiring a pedestal should be identified in the artist’s entry. The Center for the Arts of Bonita Springs can provide pedestals and every effort will be made to accommodate the artist’s wishes. Consistent with FLAG’s policy, no work that is POR (price on request) or NFS (not for sale) will be exhibited.

 

SHIPPED AND DELIVERED WORK
Those hand-delivering their work must do so on Friday, March 25th between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Center for
the Arts of Bonita Springs. The Center is located at 26100 Old US 41, Bonita Springs FL 34135. Strike down is Friday, April 29th between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the same address. All art must be picked up on that date and during those times. Shipped work must be received between March 21st and 24th, 2016 to FLAG’s designated
delivery service for this symposium. Shipped work should be sent, via the artist’s preferred carrier (e.g., USPS,
UPS, FedEX, courier) to Richard Reichow, c/o My Garage LLC, 7225 Sanibel Blvd. #24, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
Tel: (239) 273-9568. Those shipping their work through their own carrier to the designated FLAG delivery service must include a separate check made payable to Richard Reichow in the amount of $35. This fee covers the costs of receiving,
handling, unpacking, shortterm storage, and delivering and retrieving the work from the Center for the Arts on the
designated receiving and strike down dates, and shipping the returned work via the artist’s carrier. All shipped work must include a return, prepaid shipping label for the artist’s carrier. All hand-delivered work must be received at the Center for the Arts of Bonita Springs on March 25th between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Work delivered outside those dates or times cannot be accepted for exhibition.
