Biography:

Mr. Cowdrick has studied at the Dayton Art Institute, the Arrowmont School of
Arts and Crafts and the Ringling College of Art and Design. His paintings have
been shown at the Cork Gallery of Lincoln Center in New York City, as well as at
venues and collections nationwide. His work has been featured in one-man shows,
invitational and group exhibitions in Atlanta, Greensboro, New Brunswick,
New Orleans, and throughout Florida.

Artist Statement:

The Spirit Rising: Meditation Garden, Contemplation and Bindu series are a manifestation of those quiet moments during a prayer, a meditation, or the twilight moment when one is falling asleep – that time when suddenly a hidden thought or emotion seems to be revealed.
