STATEMENT:
She is a contemporary abstract artist who uses bold colors, dynamic forms, and layered textures to express the unseen emotions, memories, and energy. Her work is an exploration of the inner world, utilizing abstraction as a language to convey meaning beyond words.
Each painting is an intuitive journey, where color becomes emotion, movement becomes thought, and form becomes story. Her compositions often emerge from a place of joy, but also contain moments of tension, mystery, and transformation, mirroring the complexities of life itself. While her work is rooted in vibrant color and a sense of play, it is also deeply intentional, inviting viewers to engage not just with what they see, but with what they feel. Inspired by both the natural world and the human spirit, she creates work that encourages reflection and connection. Her goal is not to depict reality, but to evoke it – through abstraction that resonates on a visceral level.
RESUME:
After a successful tenure as the owner of a nationally acclaimed multimillion-dollar broadcast marketing company in the Northeast for over 20 years, she made a bold shift. She relocated to Florida, redirecting her passion towards small businesses and the arts. Her company was a trailblazer, being the first all-female radio-marketing company in the country. Her journey also led her to the non-profit art world, where she brought her marketing talents and creativity to West Palm Beach and the community at large. She generously shares her expertise through seminars on marketing art.
Her artistic journey is a testament to her versatility and creativity. She studied printmaking and painting in Rome and earned a BFA from Tyler School of Art, Temple University. Her thirst for knowledge led her to study with the renowned Milton Glaser at the School of Visual Arts in New York and marketing at Harvard University. Her artistic endeavors have been diverse, ranging from designing textiles to creating murals, graphic design, and web design. All these influences are beautifully woven into her fine art.
She has curated exhibits for ArtSynergy’s Art Palm Beach and Art Forms at Art Boca. She has also been a judge for ArtiGras, an International outdoor art show, in 2013, 2015, and 2018. She has served as a board member at ArtSynergy, Artists of Palm Beach County, and Wellington Art Society, and was a long-time advisor for the Cultural Affairs Committee for the City of West Palm Beach.
She is a full-time resident of Florida for over 20 years.
