Artist Statement:
I am an experimental artist. I like to explore different techniques and materials. I collect ephemera and discarded objects to use in my work to create collages, assemblages and sculptures. My work is based on my interest in the cycles of life, decay, rebirth, and ancestral and archaic voices. I am stimulated by current events and personal memories that I process, combine and transform in my mind into a newly created perspective. I then work with this new perspective and my materials to create an new art object.
